WHO AM I?

 

Hi. I’m Anna. That’s me running my first marathon in Edinburgh in 2017. I’ve gone on to run a number of other marathons, as well as ultra marathons since then.

It was during my time training to run far that I began to understand how important it is to use
strength training to complement the running side of my hobby, in order to avoid injuries and
remain strong while on my feet for hours.

I haven’t always been an active individual though. I didn’t enjoy sports at school and university and I always felt lost or intimidated in the gym. It was a combination of my love for getting stronger and learning about how my body works to get me to the finish lines and my memories of how I used to feel about being in a gym environment that lead me to train and qualify as a Personal Trainer, so that I can help people in similar situations take on their own health and  fitness goals.
